We typically have reeeeeaaaallly high standards for our kids but turn around a do that exact same thing we just told them not to leaving them completely confused.  And when we get confronted on the matter we look at that person with feigned disbelief and say “what?!?!”

Vicki over at Demand EUPHORIA delivers another fantastic article on some of the double-standards we have with our kids.  Vicki, a fellow unschooler like Trey, does a great job of bringing out some of those things you can’t help but facepalm on and think “crap, I do that too.”
