FPN Update and Casa de Gibson

Gibson Household Lawnerized

Gibson Household Lawnerized

Update:

Wanted to give you guys another update on the Casa de Gibson.  We have officially moved all of our stuff over to the new house.

We had a significant amount of help from a group of my family-by-choice friends and blood family.  Without them, we would still be moving stuff from the old house.

We did not officially complete the move process until Monday, which was 2 days longer than anticipated and has been…arduous.  But boots are off the ground from Casa 1.0 as of Monday and we were able to spend yesterday working on getting the house, Casa 2.0, set up.

Unfortunately, FPN’s recording studio is still in a box.  I’ve got some of my equipment set up, but I’m missing the Golden Microphone that makes this happen.  It is my primary goal today is to find that mic so Jeff and I can knock out The Real Family Guys Podcast. Over coffee this morning, my wonderful wife promised me the evening to get the studio set up and running.  Internet has not been turned on yet and we’re waiting for the call that we are the next ticket.

Secondarily, we have completed another of our Foster to Adopt classes this last weekend which I would complain about in lieu of the move, but our end goal (new kiddo) far surpasses the inconvenience of the class.  We only have one more 2-day course not this weekend, but the next and from that point we will only need to complete online classes and paperwork.

Third, FPN’s account server was hacked recently.  If you received any unwanted email about Pharm meds or the male genitalia from me, my sincere apologies.  My web crew is cleaning out the email directories and all passwords have been changed.  We are also upgrading to a newer version of framework software that is much, much more secure.  You may notice small fluctuations in FPN’s website, but it is all about beefing up security.

I want to say thank you again for your patience.  The sheer amount of stuff we have to do is bigger than I anticipated, but we are getting there.  I miss the show and I miss you guys.  We will be broadcasting soon.

Casa de Gibson Ver 2.0

Casa de Gibson Ver 2.0

We are at D-Day minus 4 for our big move into Casa de Gibson 2.0.  Our new homestead house is almost done with the renovations we’ve been working on internally.  My outside office and also the new FPN recording studio has been dry-walled and insulated, ready to receive recording hardware.  All the new hardware for recording has arrived and needs to be hooked up.  Ah…ahm sooo eh-cited!!

On the flip side, I’m using every weekend until midnight to move stuff over to the new house so I’m going to need this week to prepare.  So I’m calling on your patience as we get this knocked out, and our new house/studio set up.

We have over 290 episodes to listen to excluding the Real Family Guys Podcast.  Want to look up a topic?  CLICK HERE to visit our Search for a Topic page.
