Dealing with disappointment with kids, and even seeing it as a good thing.
How to turn kiddos being disappointed to optimistic in a short period of time.
How teaching kids how to handle disappointment can EVEN help in the teen years.
SHOW NOTES
Kids will often get disappointed about what we feel are the wierdest things. They’ve never had to worry about what they will eat that day, or how the lights will stay on and seem to get upset with the wieniest of things like not getting to play with their blocks any more.
But even though that may be true, kids still feel the same emotion you and I do, but they come with the disadvantage that they haven’t learned how to deal with it well yet. So it’s our jobs to show them just HOW to.
Join Jeff and I today as we discuss how to help kiddos take the disappointing crap and make it into something beneficial.
